Once the oils have arrived at our warehouse, they are anonymized and stored in the dark at a constant temperature of 15 degrees Celsius to preserve their sensory properties.
Manuela and Vincenzo will conduct a preselection, identifying any defects, and then perform a comprehensive evaluation.
Northern Hemisphere Selections
The required score to be included in LODO’s Selection is 85|100.
Oils that have achieved a score equal to or higher than 95|100 are First Phase Finalists.
The required score to be included in LODO’s Selection is 85|100.
Oils that have achieved a score equal to or higher than 95|100 are Second Phase Finalists.
Therefore, during the first week of September, you will receive banners certifying the score range achieved and the diplomas:
ONE ORCIOLO OUTSTANDING from 88 – 90
TWO ORCIOLI EXCELLENT from 91 – 94
THREE ORCIOLI LODEVOLE from 95 – 99
It is important to note that the scores are valid for one year, and all promotional material will be dated for the following year.
