A valuable context and important professional collaborations. Haute cuisine, photography, music and design dress green excellence, giving an exclusive soul that can transform and illuminate towards a new way and a new world of knowledge and culture.
Lodo Guide 2022 is an innovative project, The stage of world olive-growing excellence.”

Manuela Ersilia Livia Vigo and Vincenzo Federico Petisi

Lodo Guide 2022 is a rich selection of 459 oils, produced by 328 companies, from 11 different countries, conceived and conducted by the two authors: Manuela Ersilia Livia Vigo and Vincenzo Federico Petisi. A multi-level editorial project, enriched by multiple narrative focuses. I Volti dell’Olio, a section dedicated to the best producers of 2022, combines the stories of the protagonists to the wonderful portraits made by photographer Gianmarco Chieregato. Le Strade dell’Olio, a section dedicated to the territories, is an invitation to explore magnificent regions where the production of olive oil is the key to a culinary and cultural discovery. A narrative line that, along its course, meets the stories of the two authors and interfaces with the protagonists of haute cuisine: starry chefs (Tommaso Arrigoni, Kotaro Noda, Claudio Sadler, Mauro Uliassi), journalists and authorities in the field of art and design (Gisella Borioli).

592 pages tracing a journey marked by color:
11 pots of 11 different shades ideally represent the 11 nations that follow each other within the guide, and that in the cover blend together in a harmonic pattern, as in an ideal embrace.

An illustrated line, which becomes an elegant narrative trace that accompanies the reading. In the section of Le Strade dell’Olio the illustration triumphs in a series of 20 “treasure maps”: a geography of experiences, tastes and emotions, a generous invitation to travel and discovery.
